Effective immediately, our genetic testing kits for cats no longer include dry swabs (without transport medium). Instead, only special swabs are now used here.

These special swabs contain a clear liquid in the sample tube. This stabilizes and protects the sample after collection on its way to the lab. This can improve the quality of the DNA isolated from the sample, which benefits the subsequent genetic analysis.

For you, very little will change in terms of how you use the product: Please continue to follow the instructions carefully when collecting the sample and return it to us as soon as possible. Please keep in mind: A sample collected correctly is the best basis for a reliable genetic test.
