Beta-mannosidosis
General description
A form of beta-mannosidosis, which is classified as a lysosomal storage disorder, has been reported in a cat. This leads to neurological disorders as early as a few months of age. These include, above all, balance disorders (ataxia) that can lead to repeated falls, as well as cognitive impairments that progress rapidly.
