Allgemeine Beschreibung<\/strong><\/h4>

Das in waschbrettartigen Wellen (sog. Marcel Wellen) und eng am K\u00f6rper liegende, weiche Fell der Cornish Rex wird durch eine Mutation im LPAR6-Gen (fr\u00fcher auch P2RY5-Gen) verursacht. Diese Mutation tritt ebenso bei der German Rex auf und wird rezessiv vererbt. Das bedeutet, dass Nachkommen die entsprechende Haarstruktur nur aufweisen, wenn sie von beiden Elterntieren vererbt wird.<\/span><\/p>
