The Classic STR DNA profile (ISAG 2006) is the unalterable, tamper-proof genetic fingerprint of your animal that enables unique identification. All profiles are stored in our DNA database. The profile analyses 22 STR markers according to ISAG guidelines and offers international comparability. The test reliability and exclusion probability for parentage analyses are over 99.99%.<\/span><\/p>

The Classic STR DNA profile (ISAG 2006) is the genetic fingerprint of your animal. It cannot be manipulated or lost, remains unchanged for a lifetime and enables the individual to be uniquely identified. All DNA profiles are stored in our DNA database to ensure continuous availability. The Classic STR DNA profile follows the recommended ISAG (International Society for Animal Genetics) guidelines from 2006 by analyzing 22 microsatellite markers – also known as STR (Short Tandem Repeats) markers – and allowing international comparability between laboratories. Each STR marker describes a specific region on the DNA strand based on its length. The test reliability and the exclusion probabilities for the parentage analysis are over 99.99%.<\/span><\/p>\n
